Handling belongings with care
Anything that looks personal — photographs, letters, documents, jewellery, medals, keepsakes — is set aside for the family, not thrown out. If we find something unexpected, we'll stop and ask.
Items that can have a second life can be kept separate if the family wishes to donate them. Everything else goes to licensed City of Toronto disposal and transfer facilities, with recyclables sorted out.

Not the whole time. Many families are present for the walk-through, then trust us to work. We stay in touch by phone and can send photos.
