Draining and pool chemicals
Pools must be drained before removal, and the City of Toronto has rules about where pool water can be discharged. Please drain the pool following those rules, and have any electrical disconnected by a licensed electrician.
We can't take pool chemicals, which are hazardous waste. Metal walls and frames go to scrap recycling, and the rest is taken to licensed Toronto disposal facilities.
