Permits, footings and treated wood
Some structures may require a City of Toronto permit to demolish, depending on their size, location and what they're attached to. Before we start, we confirm with you whether a permit applies, so the job is done properly from day one.
Decks attached to the house need care to avoid damaging siding or brick. Older decks are usually pressure-treated lumber, which is handled differently from clean wood. Composite decking also goes to general disposal rather than wood recycling.
